Sound immission prognoses for consumer markets
When building or modifying consumer markets close to residential areas, sound immission control must be considered.
Using a sound calculation programme (e.g. SoundPLAN), an acoustical calculation model is being created that contains all sound sources in the correct position and allows predicting the sound immission levels on relevant immission points. The images show several typical sound sources at consumer markets.

Data about sound emission of the individual sources are taken from literature or manufacturer information, or being measured.
Through this, a map showing the sound level distribution can be calculated, as shown in the fictive example below.
